Our dedicated team of Mental Health Therapists offers a wide range of compassionate, evidence-based services accessible and tailored to meet your unique needs. From individual psychotherapy for rostered patients to community-wide groups and educational workshops, we are committed to providing effective support and care throughout your mental health journey. Our goal is to help you develop coping strategies, manage symptoms, and navigate everyday stressors in a supportive space.

About

Our team of dedicated mental health therapists provides assessments and psychotherapy for adults experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, relationship struggles, grief, trauma, and more. We provide both individual and group therapy, where you can learn to cope and manage your symptoms.

If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.




Our Programs & Group Therapies


Our Mental Health Team offers a variety of programs. Please note that each has a different referral process.


  1. Rostered Patient Mental Health Program (Individual Counselling and Group Therapy)

What it is

One-on-one counselling and psychotherapy for rostered patients, offering triage, psychosocial assessments, and collaborative treatment for anxiety, depression, and other stressors.


Who it's for

Adult patients rostered with a Queen Square Doctors family physician.


How to Access

Must be referred by your Queen Square Doctors physician.




  1. Anxiety & Depression CBT Group

What it is

An 8-week group that meets weekly for two hours to help you manage symptoms using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques. This program is facilitated by two clinical social workers/psychotherapists.


Who it's for

Adults (18+) living in Ontario.


How to Access

A physician or Nurse Practitioner must complete the William Osler Health System Outpatient Mental Health referral form and fax it to (905) 494-6757.




  1. CBT Affirm Group (in partnership with Pflag and Associated Youth Services of Peel (AYSP))

What it is

2SLGBTQIA+ Group Therapy Program

An 8-week, evidence-based support group for LGBTQ+ individuals (ages 15-29) to manage stress, build resilience, and celebrate identity in a safe, affirming environment.


Who it's for

LGBTQ+ youth and young adults aged 15 to 29.


How to Access

LGBT YouthLine is an anti-racist, youth-led organization that connects 2SLGBTQ+ youth (29 and under) across Ontario to resources and community through peer support, training, advocacy, and referrals.

Trans Lifeline


Trans Lifeline’s Hotline is a peer support phone service run by trans people for our trans and questioning peers. Call us if you need someone trans to talk to, even if you’re not in a crisis or if you’re not sure you’re trans.

  1. Alumni Group

What it is

A monthly online check-in session for those who have completed our  8-week Anxiety & Depression group to review skills learned, reconnect and share their progress.


Who it's for

Past participants of the Anxiety & Depression group.

Partnerships with Community Programs


  1. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Program with CMHA Peel

What it is

An intensive program for individuals with difficulties regulating emotions is offered in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association. It includes skills training, individual therapy, and coaching.


Who it's for

Adults (18+) in specific regions (Brampton, Malton, etc.) with specific eligibility criteria related to emotional regulation, impulsivity, and interpersonal conflict.


How to Access

Please call the CMHA DBT Team directly at 905-451-2123 or 1-877-451-2123 to begin their referral and assessment process. Learn more at the CMHA Website.



  1. Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) Program with CarePoint Health

What it is

A provincially funded program offering free, short-term psychotherapy based on CBT to help manage challenges like anxiety and depression.


Who it's for

Adults (18+) living in Ontario.


How to Access

Self-referral is available through the OSP CarePoint Health website.



  1. Group Therapy for Trauma (CPT for Women) with CarePoint Health

What it is

A 12-week virtual group using Cognitive Processing Therapy for women (18+) who have experienced trauma and have significant post-traumatic stress symptoms. 


How to Access

This group is offered periodically. To inquire about the next session start date and to make a referral, please email the program coordinator at naomi.ennis@carepointhealth.ca



  1. Culturally Adapted CBT for South Asian Women with CarePoint Health

What it is

A 12-week virtual group therapy that teaches CBT skills specifically within a South Asian cultural context for women (ages 18-35) with low mood or anxiety.


How to Access

This group is offered periodically. To inquire about the next session start date and to make a referral, please email the program coordinator at nancy.bahl@carepointhealth.ca




Educational Workshops


Our team also offers a variety of single-session educational workshops on topics like stress, sleep, mindfulness, and more. These are open to the community and do not require a physician referral.
