About the event

This free, 60-minute virtual workshop, presented by a Queen Square Pharmacist, is focused on understanding feminizing hormone therapy for gender-affirming care. This session covers medication types and their risks/benefits, the importance of regular monitoring, and strategies for managing side effects. The workshop includes a 45-minute presentation followed by a 15-minute Q&A, providing a supportive space to learn and ask questions.

What is this workshop about?

This Pharmacist-led workshop provides essential education for individuals interested in or currently undergoing feminizing hormone therapy. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive space to learn about the medical aspects of gender transition. While overall gender-affirming care at Queen Square is led by a Nurse Practitioner-led team, this specific educational session is facilitated by our pharmacy experts.

Who is this for?

This service is open to anyone seeking information about gender-affirming services.
