Sustainable Queen Square

Who are we and what do we do?

The Lancet Commission on Climate Change has identified climate change as the greatest global health threat. At Queen Square Family Health Team, we strive to provide the highest quality healthcare that is safe for patients while also minimizing our impact on the planet for the health of future generations.

The Sustainable Queen Square committee is working to ensure our practices and policies support both patient and planetary health.

Some of our initiatives include:

🌳 Community Park Clean-Ups

Queen Square FHT organizes local park clean-up events, bringing staff together to care for shared green spaces. We have hosted multiple clean-up days, collecting bags of litter and debris from neighbourhood parks. These efforts reduce environmental pollution, protect local ecosystems, and strengthen the connection between our team and the community we serve.
