Dietitian-Led Workshops

Our team offers group education sessions in different ways to support a wide range of health goals.

We offer dedicated workshops for managing specific conditions, such as Pre-Diabetes and Managing Type 2 Diabetes. These are part of our formal care programs and require a physician referral to attend. Please speak with your doctor for more information.

In addition, we host a variety of free workshops on general nutrition topics. They are open to everyone in the community, age 18+, and do not require a referral. These workshops can be a great place to start and provide valuable skills to support your health goals.

Sessions will be offered in English.

Queen Square Family Health Team operates on the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We acknowledge the territory of the Anishinabek, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Ojibway/Chippewa peoples; the land that is home to the Métis and, most recently, the territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation who are direct descendants of the Mississaugas of the Credit. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work with and serve the people who inhabit this land, and by doing so, give our respect to its first inhabitants.
