Our Support Options

There are different ways to get the support you need on your journey to quit

One-on-One Counselling at Queen Square (Referral Required)

What it is

The program is built around individualized virtual counselling sessions with a trained pharmacist. Your journey will include an initial visit (approximately 60 minutes) and follow-up visits as required (approximately 30 minutes).

What support is included?

During your sessions, our pharmacist will work with you to:

  • Review your current smoking habits and triggers.

  • Develop individualized strategies to help you reach your reduction or quitting goals.

  • Discuss the risks of smoking and the benefits of quitting.

  • Create a ‘quit plan’ that best suits your needs.

  • Connect you with community support and helpful resources.

  • Provide free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (patches, gums, etc.) through the STOP program.

  • Educate you on other treatment options that can be prescribed in collaboration with your family physician.

How to Access

You can speak with your family doctor about your interest in the program. They can provide a referral, and our internal administrative team will then contact you to book an appointment with our pharmacist.

Getting Started

To access one-on-one counselling, the first step is to speak with your family doctor to ask for a referral. To join a group session, explore our virtual workshops.
